A stroll to Judy's Garden (a Calderdale Heritage walk – a charge of £4)
Meet Mary Twentyman at the War Memorial on Village Street, Norwood Green HX3 8PZ.
Balsam Bash Date to be arranged


Balsam Bashing – meet at the Station Road entrance, off Huddersfield Road, Wyke BD12
8LA for a morning of balsam bashing followed by lunch (See website or telephone (see
bottom of leaflet) nearer the date for more details.)


Saturday 6th August 1.30pm
Commemorative Judy North walk – It's more than 150 years since Judy North died (the
woods are named after her). We'll visit the area where she died and the place where she's
buried and, on the way round, have a look at three local nature reserves. Meet Mary
Twentyman at Aldersgate Methodist Church at the junction of Common Road, Netherlands
Avenue and Cleckheaton Road BD12 0TW. (Approx 4 miles)


Friday 16th September 7.00pm
Bat Walk – meet Ian Butterfield at the Harold Club, Low Moor (junction of New Works
Road/Huddersfield Road) BD12 0UD at 7pm for introductory talk before going in woods
about 7.45 pm. Bar will be open from 6.45 for drinks. Tea and coffee also available.


Saturday 15th October 1.30pm
Fungi Walk – meet Stuart Tordoff and Sally Tetlow at the Station Road entrance, off
Huddersfield Road, Wyke BD12 8LA.


Tuesday 27thth December 1.00pm
Seasonal Winter Walk – A chance to walk off those Christmas calories - meet Sally
Tetlow and Denis Waudby at the Harold Club, Low Moor (junction of New Works
Road/Huddersfield Road) BD12 0UD, for a woodland stroll followed by entertainment and a
sing-along. Food available from 12 noon. (Further details will be published nearer the date).
